about

Growing up amidst the sprawling expanse of São Paulo, confined mostly to apartment living, I sought refuge in the great outdoors, a sanctuary from the urban hustle. From a young age, I grappled with my innate sensitivity, often subjected to teasing by those who failed to appreciate its role as a catalyst for creativity. Despite attempts to stifle it, I couldn't deny that I felt most authentic when engrossed in creative endeavors, whether painting, crafting, or immersing myself in literary works like poetry, novels, and philosophical texts. Yet, the practicalities of life led me down the path of law, a decision driven by financial necessity but tinged with regret due to its passionless nature. It wasn't until I relocated to Washington DC that I found the time and space to reflect on my true calling. The allure of creative outlets, a constant companion since childhood, beckoned me once more. I dedicated all my energy to painting and, more recently, photography, perpetually captivated by the nuanced interplay of faces, emotions, textures, and color compositions. This journey has been a testament to the enduring power of sensitivity and a lifelong pursuit of the artistry that flows from within.
